Character history: Glitch, once known as Ambros, was advisor to the queen and chief scientist, inventing such devices as the Sunseeder, among other things, to help the O.Z. before the evil witch Azkadillia took over and had half of his brain removed in order to run the Anit-sun seeder, leaving him with most of his memories gone and a large zipper bisecting his head. Glitch wandered, having no idea where or who he was, for approximately fifteen years before getting himself captured by munchkins and held prisoner in a giant birdcage, where he met and befriended D.G. the O.Z.’s youngest princess, who had been in hiding on the other side. In return for getting him out of the Cage, he promises to take her to the ‘old yellow brick road,’ where her parents had last been spotted. Once free, they set out, only Glitch can’t quite remember where the road is…luckily they meet up with a tin man by the name of Wyatt Cain, who Glitch does not immediately get along with. Cain knows the way, and on the way there, they pick up another companion, Raw, a member of a psychic race Azkadillia has been abducting and using.

They all head off to see the wizard, and in the process meet Tutor, a man that can turn into a cute little dog and once taught D.G. magic, learn not only Glitch’s past, but that Cain’s family, believed dead, are still alive, Azkadillia is D.G.’s older sister, they need to find G.D.’s father, and that Glitch knows how to disarm and dismantle the Anti-sun seeder, he just can’t remember how. Not necessarily in that order.

Character personality: Glitch has a rather dry sense of humor, and can be bitingly sarcastic when he feels like it. He’s a little self conscious about the huge hole in his head and the fact that he only has half a brain, and feels that part of what happened to the O.Z. was his fault, given that the Sunseeder was his invention and the other half of his brain is being used to operate the thing. He has a cowardly streak, but will help and stand up for his friends when he needs to. He gets ticks in his speech patterns, often repeating himself several times without realizing it and forgetting the names and faces of people he knows for short moments. He's also easily distracted....just a little bit.

Physical description: Glitch is a tall, thin man with wild, tangled curls that probably haven’t seen a brush in a while, and a zipper bisecting his head. He has brown eyes hair and a thin, narrow face. He wears the ratty, tattered remains of his old uniform, though he doesn’t know what it is. This consists of a black and pink striped shirt under a stained, sort-of buttoned white dress shirt under a long, dark brown jacket with gold rope decorations and embroidery (What’s left of it.) torn at both shoulders and cuffs. He also wears a pair of black slacks and boots.

Magical powers or special skills: Glitch is a very smart, clever man. He just doesn’t know it. He is, however, a wonderful dancer and is very skilled in martial arts. It’s all about the rhythm.

Any crimes committed in canon: He would probably blame himself for treason, though he never really committed such a crime.
